It is for that reason that beetles (e.g. black fungus beetles) are not only to be viewed as material pests and stock pests but they are of great hygiene significance in modern animal and foodstuff production. Within the scope of increasing hygiene requirements in foodstuff, alongside the general hygiene management at agricultural operations a traceable beetle control has become obligatory.
